Front Street Animal Shelter holds a special place in my heart. Twelve years ago, I adopted my sweet pup Macy Gray from them, and she filled my life with love and adventure.

  Beyond helping me find my best friend, Front Street does so much for our community. Their mission is centered on protecting, preserving, and enhancing the quality of life for both animals and people by strengthening the human-animal bond.

  They don’t just care for lost and abandoned pets—they rescue animals from abusive conditions, save them from locked vehicles, and educate owners on the importance of spaying and neutering.

  Front Street's dedicated work also extends to assisting other agencies, like the Sacramento SPCA and local law enforcement, showing their deep commitment to both animals and the people who love them.
